PURPOSE:To provide a reversible thermal recording material which has a widened clarifying temperature range, improves erasability by a thermal head and an aging erasability, further obtains a high contrast image and has an excellent repeated durability. CONSTITUTION:A reversible thermal recording material comprises a heat- sensitive layer containing resin base material and organic low molecular weight substance dispersed in the base material as main ingredients and having reversibly variable transparency depending upon a temperature on a support, wherein two types of fatty acid ester (preferably having a melting point of 40 deg.C or higher) and organic low molecular weight substance having a melting point of 100 deg.C or higher are used as the organic substances. |
