PURPOSE:To measure the insulation resistance of the outer surface of an insulated wire constituting a cable conductor after the removal of an insulator film therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A measuring member 10 has an electrode 13 formed at the front end of a guide rod 11 the body of which is formed at its from surface with an insulator film, and a guide ring 15 is located in the vicinity of the front end part of the guide rod. The guide ring 15 is attached to one 5 of wires of a segment conductor, and the electrode 13 is pressed against the outer surface of the wire 5 which is connected to a measuring unit 19 together with the front end of the guide rod 11 through electric wires, thereby it is possible to know an electrical value indicating a conductivity or a degree of insulation as a condition of removal of an insulating film from the wire.
|
