<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the fitting method for the touch panel which can reduce an impact force applied to the touch panel through a housing if the touch panel is dropped when fitted to the housing wherein a display panel is stored having its display surface exposed. CONSTITUTION:For the method for fitting the touch panel to the housing wherein the display panel is stored having its display surface exposed, elastic stoppers 32 which bring the edge end surface of the touch panel into contact by inserting the peripheral part of the touch panel 11 are implanted in two mutually adjacent sides of the surface of a frame-shaped housing body 31, and energizing means 33 which generate elastic forces in the directions of the stoppers are fixed in other two sides of the housing body to constitute the housing 30; and the edge surfaces of the two sides of the touch panel 11 whose reverse surface is brought into contact with the top surface of the housing body are energized by the energizing means to press the edge surfaces of other two sides against the stoppers, thus fitting the touch panel to the housing.</p> |
