MANUFACTURE OF THIN TYPE NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

PURPOSE:To provide a thin type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a stable charge/discharge capacity by regulating a charge rate in initial charge/discharge. CONSTITUTION:In initial charge/discharge in a thin type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery containing a group of electrode plates having oval cross sectional surfaces composed by winding a rectangular sheet positive electrode plate 1 and a negative electrode plate 2 through a separator 3, a charge current for the first time or the second time is regulated to be 0.15cmA or less. The whole body of the electrode plates reacts uniformly by this, and a charge/ discharge capacity in the initial charge/discharge can be stabilized in an early stage.
