<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent concentration of ozone from increasing by a simple constitution and to lower noises. SOLUTION: In the case that an ionizer unit 15 of an air purifier 1 is energized to produce an ion stream for ventilation, when a fan 5 is stopped, after the lapse of a predetermined time period T1 after stopping the fan, a control device 31 is provided to operate the fan 5 for a certain period of time T2. As a result, during an operation with ion stream, concentration of ozone produced at the ionizer unit 15 can be reduced. Since there is no need for an ozone sensor, constitution can be made simple and operation of the fan 5 can be minimized and hence noises can be decreased.</p> |
