PURPOSE:To obtain a skin beautifying agent effective for suppressing melanogenesis, exhibiting preventing and dissipating effect on the deposition of melanin pigment, having excellent skin beautifying effect and giving a skin cosmetic extremely useful for the prevention and treatment of the spots and freckles caused by sunburn, etc. CONSTITUTION:A skin beautifying agent composed of tuberocin of the formula (a known compound existing in the root of Pueraria lobata) and a skin cosmetic containing the compound. The amount of compound of the formula to be compounded to the skin cosmetic is preferably 0.0001-10wt.%, especially 0.001-5wt.%. This skin cosmetic includes medicinal cosmetics, etc., as well as common skin cosmetics. It is used in various forms such as lotion, milky lotion, cream, ointment, stick, organic solvent solution, pack or gel. |
