PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension type air conditioner in which a high performance filter can be fixed easily to a filter chamber while enhancing the strength of the filter chamber. SOLUTION: The suspension type air conditioner is provided with a box type filter chamber 51 for containing a high performance filter 61 at the suction port of an air conditioner body. The filter chamber 51 is formed of a four side frame 53 made of a plate metal frame member having substantially U-shaped cross-section, and a partitioner 55 having substantially rectangular cross-section disposed in the short side direction. The partitioner 55 is provided with a stopper 57 rotatably and the high performance filters 61 are disposed on the opposite sides of the partitioner 55. The high performance filters 61 has one end to be inserted into the short side frame member and secured in place, and the other end to be secured by turning the stopper 5. |
