<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely block an air passage of two routes in an air-operated hub clutch device to switch the two-wheel drive from the four-wheel drive through air operation. SOLUTION: In a hub clutch device, a drive member is moved to uncouple a driven member by pumping the pressure fluid to two air-tight chambers 15, 16 in a cover 11 blocked by a diaphragm 14 through two routes. A sealing member 23a which is inserted in the cover 11 so as to be abutted on an outer ring 9 to block two routes of the pressure fluid comprises a core 31 to be fitted to an inner circumference of the cover 11 and a seal member which is fixed to the inner circumference side of the core 31 and engaged with a spindle side and brought into slidable contact therewith, a locking projection to be fitted to a recessed notch part 34 formed in the inner circumference of the cover and an extension part 36 to be fitted to the inner circumference of a wheel hub 5 are provided on an outer circumferential wall of the core 31, and a sealing member 23a is mounted on the cover 11 in a locking and detachment-preventive manner to keep the sealing function.</p> |
