摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a fixation element in specialized form that can decrease looseness of the fixation element by substantially increasing working rotary stability to be higher than that of a conventional fixation member while keeping the corresponding ability against the load in axial direction. CONSTITUTION: Fixation member 1 implanted into bone or other tissues is made of tissue affinity material such as titanium or the like in the form of a screw of externally threaded type. Fixation member 1 can be used to support, for example, a prosthetic or artificial joint part. In order to increase rotary stability thus preventing the looseness of fixation member 1, thread 4 of a screw is provided with, for example, a notch 7 by forming a spiral (or linear) groove 5 in the screw face around fixation member 1. Therefore, when fixation member 1 is implanted into, for example, a bone tissue, the tissue is led into notch 17, thus forming a key to stop the returning of the screw and rotation of fixation member 1.</p>
