PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device and cursor move control method for which processing such as copy or move can be performed by easily and speedily moving a cursor to any desired position and operability is improved. CONSTITUTION:The position information of the cursor existing at the desired position in document information is stored in a RAM 30 by a 'cursor mode' key 44d. When the 'cursor move' key 44d is pushed down in the case of setting a copy/move mode and designating the copy/move destination, based on the position information stored in the RAM 30, the copy/move processing is performed by moving the cursor to the relevant position by a 'copy/move' key 44c. |
