PURPOSE: A method of making a sweet drink made from fermented rice is provided, which contains effective components from a ginseng boiled, has a unique flavor, and promote health. CONSTITUTION: Making a sweet drink made from fermented rice containing ginseng is prepared by heating 10liter of water with 1kg of ginseng at 100°C for 2-4 hours; getting ginseng malt from mixture of the extract of ginseng and enzyme of malt; making hard-boiled rice with rice autoclaved for 1 hour; getting liquid sweet rice drink by saccharifying the hard boiled rice and liquid of ginseng malt; and separating the rice from the liquid. To improve sugar content for tastes, the rice kept separately is put into the sweet rice drink with ginseng boiled with sugar for 3 hours. A tender flavor of ginseng is provided by extracting ginseng components in the extracting process for ginseng malt.
