PURPOSE: A local management system within GIS-based digital map and method for the same are provided to obtain local features and information by dividing an area on a digital map into predetermined units as well as to serve the advertisements of lessees to users at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A local management system within GIS-based digital map and a method for the same comprise a digital map server(4), a database server(6), and a service server(5). The digital map server comprises a digital map database(1) divided into predetermined units. The database server comprises information about natural features, information about establishments and information about advertisement of lessees. The service server is connected to the digital map server and the database server. The service server comprises a location device for locating areas on the digital map, which is connected to users on the internet.
