PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a received voice of improved auditory quality. SOLUTION: A noise reduction processing part 47 uses for processing a voice parameter code based upon a transmitted signal sent from a transmitting device so as to generate a voice signal of a 1st sampling frequency fs1 (8 KHz), but actually performs noise reduction processing for a broadband voice signal of 2nd sampling frequency fs2 (16 KHz). Consequently, the noise reduction processing part 47 performs the noise reduction processing twice (=fs2/fs1) separately by 160 words each for the broadband voice signal of 320 samples (words) per frame (20 msec). Thus, the noise reduction processing part 47 can reduce noise components in the broadband voice signal, and so a bandwidth expansion part 32 is capable of outputting the above braodband voice signal having the noise components reduced. |
