PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile with a joint pattern and a manufacturing method thereof having a structure to prevent a joint material from peeling, and improving the design. SOLUTION: A joint groove 13 for forming a joint pattern is formed on the surface of a tile, and is formed in a dovetail groove shape. Thereby, the joint material 14 filled in the joint groove 13 is mechanically and strongly connected with the dovetail groove 13, so that they do not peel off easily. This manufacturing method comprises the steps for attaching joint groove forming rubber 12 on a forming surface of an upper mold 11, deforming extendedly a tip end side of the rubber 12 to form the dovetail groove shaped joint groove 13 at the time of pressure molding, and coming in contact the maximum width part of the rubber 12 with an edge part which is the minimum width part of the dovetail groove 13 to form a levee 19 by tipping a part of the maximum width part when the upper mold returns by lifting.
