The application relates to a crimping tool for crimping tube connections, in particular for tubes made of composite materials, having two crimping jaws (1, 2), each of which carries a forming part (8, 9) of a forming insert (7) and which are connected to one another by connecting plates (3, 4) arranged on both sides, are supported on the connecting plates (3, 4) in a manner which allows them to be pivoted in opposite directions about parallel pivoting axes (5, 6) and can be moved into the closed position by means of a tool driving device, which can be connected to the crimping tool by means of a transverse pin passing through aligned holes (22, 23) in the connecting plates (3, 4).
