摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude the necessity of holding an interval toward a preceding train to more than a required extent by calculating a speed restriction pattern for which the vehicle performance of a subsequent train is considered on the basis of the position and speed limit information of the preceding train loaded on the subsequent train and transmitted from a ground installation and making an operational control within the range of a speed limit pattern. SOLUTION: Information collected by new ATC ground stations 1a, 1b, 1c are converted to radio signals and transmitted to train operational devices 10a, 10b of trains 9a, 9b on the rail way. The train operational devices 10a, 10b that have received information from a new ATC ground station 1, catch this information as security signals, and calculate speed limiting signals (speed limiting pattern) for which the performance of own train itself is taken into account in the security part inside of train operational devices 10a, 10b. Then, on the basis of this speed limiting pattern, running control by means of automatic train operational function (ATO function) is practiced while holding a running interval distance to the preceding train. Next, information from train group 9a, 9b are transmitted to new ATC ground stations 1a, 1b, 1c through radio stations 2a, 2b, 2c.
