PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the increase of the verification manhours by facilitating the simulation for circuit functional verification during power supply on/off in a multiple power supply circuit, thereby greatly reducing the circuit verification time. SOLUTION: There is arranged a pseudo power supply cell VCONT having one input terminal in each of a plurality of functional hierarchy of circuit data in a simulation object circuit, respectively. Execution circuit data connecting each power supply terminal of the functional hierarchy and each input terminal of the arranged pseudo power supply cell VCONT, respectively, are created and read. An input signal level change is detected in accordance with a verification signal pattern. Which of on-off of the power supply in object hierarchy is discriminated depending on a level of the input terminal of the pseudo power supply cell VCONT in this input signal level change. A simulation for only the object hierarchy whose power supply is turned on is performed.
