PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a system by improving the initialization precision of a step motor and improving the control precision of idle rotation speed. SOLUTION: In this drive control device for step motor, an idle control valve is opened and closed in the idle operation of an engine to drive-control a step motor so that the engine speed is a target idle rotation speed. This device comprises a control means for performing a control so as to start the initialization of matching the integrated position data obtained by integrating the drive signal to the step motor to the actual position data of the step motor driven by the drive signal when all conditions of the elapsed time from ON of the ignition switch of the engine exceeding a set time value, an intake pipe pressure exceeding a set pressure value, and a throttle opening exceeding a set opening value are established. |
