摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business support system that cam manage a system without significantly decreasing reliability even if basic attribute data necessary to understand customer's needs is insufficient. SOLUTION: The system, a computer system that analyzes customer information, comprises a customer database in which basic factors used to understand the customers is accumulated; and a customer understanding engine that analyzes customer need characteristics based on the basic factors. The customer database stores complementary factors to be used instead of basic factors when the basic factor data is not available. The customer understanding engine is programmed such that, when the basic data necessary for calculation is not available at need characteristics calculation time, the need characteristics calculation is made using the complementary factors corresponding to the basic factors.
