DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC BOOK SERVICE USING DATA BROADCASTING WITH VOICE SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A device and a method for an electronic book service using data broadcasting are provided to view the electronic book by broadcasting the text/voice signals of the electronic book and receiving the signals through a data broadcasting receiver such as the TV. CONSTITUTION: A data broadcasting transmitter(100) broadcasts the contents of the electronic books, a contents list, and a view program to view the contents, and provides a download control signal to download the contents of the electronic book through the Internet(120). The data broadcasting receiver(110) receives the contents, the contents list, and the view program, receives the download control signal for the contents selected from the contents list by transmitting a request to the data broadcasting transmitter, extracts/stores the contents by the received download control signal, and views the stored contents through the view program. The data broadcasting transmitter comprises an electronic book service server(101) and a broadcasting transmitter(103).
