The device has an enclosure provided with an opening of an air outlet that is arranged across an axial wall (6) in a shifted manner with respect to a rotational axis of a wheel. An accelerating unit (20) accelerates air flow along an active portion (10) of an inner surface (9) of the wall of the enclosure. The unit (20) is adjacent to the opening and extends perpendicular to the direction of air flow exhaust through the opening. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a centrifugal ventilating device.
