PURPOSE: A heat and fire resistant panel and a method for producing the same are provided to improve strength at high temperature and to prevent generation of harmful gases when fire breaks out, thereby helping to reduce damages on a building and to save life, while using cost-effective materials such as loess. CONSTITUTION: The heat and fire resistant panel comprises 50-75pts.wt of clay, 10-25pts.wt of phosphates, 1-15pts.wt of a light-weighted aggregate and 1-3pts.wt of a fiber reinforcing agent, based on the total weight of the mixture as 100pts.wt. The method for producing the heat and fire resistant panel comprises: mixing clay, phosphate, a fiber reinforcing agent and a light-weighted aggregate; forming the mixture, wherein the mixture is compress-molded under 50-150kg/cm2; and hardening the molded article.
