PURPOSE:To easily perform the check processing of display segments in a short time by controlling a display means so that display segments in all bands are simultaneously lit in order from the lowest order at the time of power-on of an equalizer device. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 7 is turned on, a control part 2 performs the check processing of display segments in a display part 4 for a prescribed time from this power-on to signal input to an equalizer part 1. That is, an internal peripheral circuit power source is turned on to wait for stabilization of power supply, and simultaneous lighting data of display segments in the lowest column of all bands in the display part 4 is transmitted to the display part 4. Thereafter, it is discriminated whether the prescribed time elapses or not; and if it does not elapse yet, it is discriminated whether display segments 4a in the highest column of all bands in the display part 4 are lit or not. If they are not lit, simultaneous lighting data of display segments in the just higher column of all bands is transmitted, and display segments of all bands are simultaneously lit column by column in order toward the highest column. When lighting is completed or the prescribed time elapses, the device is set to the normal display state. |
