PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable charger being connected with an electronic component having a USB jack and charging the electronic component. SOLUTION: The thumb type portable charger comprises a USB connector 50 providing a DC power supply of USB when it is connected with a USB jack, a charging control circuit board 60 having a front end for securing the connection pin 51 of the USB connector 50 and connecting it electrically, at least a pair of charging terminal units 71 having a positive electrode terminal 711 and a negative electrode terminal 712 arranged at the relative front and rear ends of the charging control circuit board 60, and a case for securing the USB connector 50 simultaneously with covering the charging control circuit board 60, having a charging tub 70 thereon and exposing the pair of charging terminal units 71 to the front and rear end faces of the charging tub 70 wherein the USB connector 50, the charging control circuit board 60, and the charging tub 70 are arranged to present a linear elongated form in the axial direction (X-X).
