PACKET RING NETWORK SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONNECTION BETWEEN PACKET RINGS, AND INTER-RING CONNECTION NODE

[PROBLEMS] To enable each of links connecting rings to perform packet transmission while preventing multiple packet reception and generation of broadcast storm in a normal state when no failure has occurred. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An inter-ring connection node (101a) is connected to an inter-ring connection node (102a). Similarly, an inter-ring connection node (101b) is connected to an inter-ring connection node (102b). When the inter-ring connection nodes (102a, 102b) receive a packet to be broadcasted via links (103, 104), respectively, they perform bidirectional flooding of the broadcast packet so as to reach a predetermined cleave point. Here, the inter-ring connection nodes (102a, 102b) use the other transmission source addresses between themselves so as to indicate false transmission sources.
