An oil-repellent coating layer (2) is provided on both surfaces of a lens material (1) comprising glass or a plastic. A fine particle layer (3), which contains at least one of fine particles of a metal oxide and fine particles of a fluoride being dispersed therein, is formed on the surface of the oil-repellent coating layer (2), and further a resin layer (4) comprising an organic compound is provided on the surface of the fine particle layer (3). The resin layer (4) exhibits good close attachment to a double-coated adhesive tape which is used when the lens is set onto an edger, which results in reducing the probability of the occurrence of deviation of axes during working.
