PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus for a construction plate which enables early discovery of clogging of a delivering port. SOLUTION: The construction plate A is conveyed in one direction by a roller conveyor 11 and a belt conveyor 12. The construction plate A conveyed by the belt conveyor 12 is put in a coating apparatus body 4. A paint is jetted to the construction plate A from the delivering ports of a plurality of nozzle heads 31a, 31b, 31c and 31d by color, whereby the construction plate A is coated. The construction plate A after coating is sent out in the conveying direction. An inspection plate introducing apparatus 2 which puts an inspection plate B as a white flat plate instead of the construction plate A into the roller conveyor 11 is disposed on the side of the roller conveyor 11. An inspection plate taking-out apparatus 3 which takes out the inspection plate B with an inspection pattern formed thereon to the coating apparatus body 4 is arranged on the side of the belt conveyor 12 and at the side of an outlet of the coating apparatus body 4. When a predetermined inspection pattern is formed to the inspection plate B, the presence or absence of clogging of the delivering ports can be detected from a state of the inspection pattern.
