ELECTROLYTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte which never deteriorates (lowers) the electrostatic capacity of a capacitor even with repetitious charging and discharging of the capacitor, and also to provide its manufacturing method and a capacitor using the electrolyte, for the purpose of attaining a high-energy density capacitor. SOLUTION: The electrolyte is made by dispersing metal ions into a non-aqueous solution. The metal ions are bivalent metal ions which are at least one kind selected among a group of Cu2+, Mn2+, and Ni2+ions.
