PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the high confidentiality of biological information and the shortening of an authentication processing time in a biological authentication system using an IC card and its method.

SOLUTION: This automatic cash receiving and payment system is provided with a storing part for storing a plurality of pieces of biological information, a biological information acquiring part for acquiring user's biological information, a biological information collating part for performing collation as to whether the biological information acquired by the biological information acquiring part coincides with biological information stored in the storing part in advance to obtain a collation result, and a control part for counting the number of successes of collation and controlling change processing for changing priorities of the plurality of pieces of biological information stored in the storing part in advance in accordance with the number of successes of the collation and collation processing for collating the biological information acquired by the biological information acquiring part with the biological information stored in the storing part in advance following the priorities each time the biological information collating part executes collation.
