The invention relates to hydraulic impact instruments suitable for destruction of rocks. In the body of hydraulic impact mechanism piston is located, with formation of front, back working chambers and command chamber. Long axis of slider installed with possibility of turn is placed in plane normal to axis of impact mechanism. Outputs of channels for control of piston stroke are connected to command chamber of impact mechanism, and inputs - to long channels of slide and communication channel. Outputs of channels for control of piston stroke are displaced along axis of impact mechanism by distance that does not exceed value of diameter of channel. Communication channel is permanently connected with its input to circular channel provided in slider, and with output - to discharge mains. The invention promotes increase of efficiency and decrease of discontinuity in control of impact mechanism.
