A Korean alphabet inputting device for a game device is provided to conveniently input a character or a number by utilizing a physical structure of a portable multimedia device such as a PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) having an existing game device function. Plural different input symbols are successively assigned to 7 directions of two up, down, left and right keys. The rest one direction of the up, down, left and right keys functions as a function key. The function key is a setup key for selecting a set of an input symbol, a BS(BackSpace) key functioning as a PC(Personal Computer) backspace key and a selection key functioning as an enter key of the PC. Within a predetermined time or before the other key signal is inputted, an input symbol having an order corresponding to the number of an input signal repeated in a specific direction of the up, down, left and right input keys is selected.
