<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly accurate cooling control by simple calculation even when controlled environment is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In an operation paying attention to the manipulated variable of the nearest dynamic control applied to a cooled steel sheet, an adaptive controlling means for correcting the target value of the winding temperature of the next steel sheet by paying attention to the nose part and the steady part of the steel sheet is provided.
