The proposed method of roentgenography of the upper limb of a patient implies photographing, in x-rays, the brachial and the ulnar joints at the specified position of the upper limb and determining the position of the axis of the upper limb by the results of the analysis of the roentgenogram. The proposed method is distinctive by additionally photographing the ulnar joint, lower arm, and proximal area of the hand, directing the X-ray radiation to the middle of the lower arm. The roentgenograms are converted into digital pictures and processed by a computer program. The position of the upper limb axis is determined as the position of the line that passes through the center of the humeral head, funny bone, and navicular bone.
