PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a temperature of a stored object can not be accurately detected when a thermopile is used to detect the temperature of the stored object, as the thermopile detects not only the temperature of the stored object as an object to be measured but also detects the ambient temperature. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a temperature detecting means disposed in a storage compartment and indirectly detects a temperature of the stored object in the storage compartment in a non-contact state, and a control means for estimating an actual temperature of the stored object on the basis of a temperature detected before storing the stored object and a temperature detected after storing the stored object.
