The device (10) has sensors (105) for emitting signal representing a physical magnitude, and an alarm station (110) comprising an autonomous power supply (130) and a communication unit (115) to communicate with the sensors. The alarm station includes a display unit (120) for displaying information representative of a state of each sensor according to the received signal and an emission unit (125) for emitting an alarm signal according to the signal representing the magnitude. The sensor is configured to integrate information representative of operating condition of the sensor with the signal. An independent claim is also included for an alarm method.
