PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromic writing instrument 1 capable of suppressing deformation and swinging of a friction member 9 formed of an elastic material and provided on a knock body, during friction time, and suppressing an operation error due to forward movement of the knock body 10 during friction time.SOLUTION: A thermochromic writing instrument is configured so that: a projection part 12c projecting from a rear end opening 4a of a barrel 4 is formed on an upper part of a fixing cam 12; a part of a side face of a friction member 9 is swollen for forming a friction part 9e for contacting a paper face; a penetration hole 9a is formed on the friction member 9 then, the projection part 12c is inserted into the penetration hole 9a for integrating them; and in a state that, a pen point 6 of a writing body 5 is stored inside of the barrel 4, an outside face of a front end part 9f of the friction member 9 is adjacent to an inside face of a rear end part 3a of the barrel 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
