PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the replacement frequency of an LED head to reduce the cost burden of a user by making the user himself/herself determine whether to replace the LED head by notifying the user of information about image quality.SOLUTION: An image processor provided with an LED head composed of a plurality of light-emitting elements includes power source means for supplying power to the LED head, current value detection means for detecting the magnitude of a current value flowing from the power source means to the LED head, abnormality detection means for comparing the current value detected by the current value detection means with a current value in the case that a plurality of light-emitting elements acquired from inputted image data are normal, and detecting abnormality of the plurality of light-emitting elements in each printing line in a main scanning direction, accumulation means for accumulating the number of times when the abnormality detection means detects abnormality of the plurality of light-emitting elements, and display means for displaying information about image quality of a printing medium on the basis of the number of accumulation times accumulated by the accumulation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
