PURPOSE:To provide an antiobestic food to cure obesity by reducing the absorption of sugar and fat. CONSTITUTION:The antiobesity food is produced by mixing chitosan to a mixture of gymnema extract powder and gardenia extract powder. Another antiobesity food is produced by mixing gymnema extract powder, gardenia extract powder, an alpha-amylase inhibitor and evening primrose seed oil and sealing a prescribed amount of the mixture in a water-soluble capsule. The production process for the antiobesity food comprises the extraction of gymnema extract from dried gymnema leaf with a solvent, drying of the extract to obtain gymnema extract powder, addition of gardenia extract powder and chitosan to the gymnema extract powder, kneading of the mixture and forming of the kneaded mixture in the form of particles or granules. |
