PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for projecting a speckle-free crisp image on an image plate.SOLUTION: A projection screen device (10) has: an image plate (12) that is provided with an outer side plate surface (12a) and inner side plate surface (12b); and an actuator device (20). The projection screen device in which a diffusion screen (14) is provided that is arranged adjacent to the inner plate surface, is oscillated at least partially by the actuator device, and the diffusion screen is oscillated with respect to the image plate by the actuator device. Then, an intermediate gap (16) provided between the inner plate surface of the image plate and an inner side surface (14a) of the diffusion screen aligned with respect to the inner side plate surface is at least partially filled by at least one viscoelasticity filling material (18).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
