Provided is a lithium air battery comprising: an air electrode using oxygen as an anode active material; a cathode spaced from an anode; and a separation layer immersed in electrolyte and interposed between the anode and the cathode. The air electrode includes a gas dispersion layer coated by a conductive material, and the separation layer comprises an area coated by a conductive material. According to the present invention, improved discharging capacity is provided and a product life can be increased.
