A centrifuge suitable for spraying liquid material, which may have dispersed solid particles therein so as to form droplets, comprising a perforated prilling cup 1 through which in operation the material is sprayed, and a body 3 disposed in said cup and forming an annular space between the cup and the body, the surface of said body facing the interior of the perforated wall of said container having substantially the same shape as the wall and being substantially concentric therewith. The liquid material is supplied to the annular space 7. In an alternative method (Fig. 2 not shown), the liquid material is supplied to the inside of the body 3 and allowed to flow out through slots or orifices. |
