<p>Casting resin consisting of mixture of cross-linked polyolefin or polystyrene with non-crosslinked polyolefin or polystyrene. Propns. cross-linked to non-crosslinked material in range 25-75%: 75-25%. Cross-linked material is irradiated foil packaging material (waste). Compositions are easy to mould by usual methods, particularly blow moulding. They are cheap, utilizing waste crosslinked material, e.g. crosslinked wast packing foil. The production of a 900g. hinged container is described as an example.</p> |
