A multi-colour light-sensitive material comprises a flexible support bearing on at least one side thereof, in order, (a) a hardened green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer of low blue sensitivity containing a magenta colour coupler, (b) a hardened gelatine inter-layer, (c) a silver halide emulsion layer of high blue sensitivity containing a cyan colour coupler, (d) a hardened gelatine inter-layer, (e) a hardened, red-sensitive silver halide layer of low blue sensitivity containing a yellow colour coupler, and (f) a hardened gelatine outer layer. The emulsions of low blue sensitivity may be silver chlorobromide emulsions, and that of high blue sensitivity may be a silver bromoiodide emulsion, each of which is appropriately sensitized. The material is developed with an aromatic p-amino developing agent e. g. 4-N, N-diethylaminoaniline, 4-N, N-di (#-hydroxyethyl)-aminoaniline. Normal developing baths and a fixing bath are specified and the material may be optionally bleached thereafter. Specified supports are paper and film materials. The emulsions may contain the usual sensitizing dyes, antifoggants, wetting agents and hardeners, some of which are specified. |
