[Also in Division C2] Herbicidal compositions contain a compound of the formula where X is halogen, CF 3 , OH, OCH 3 , SO 2 CH 3 or CH 3 , n is 0-3, Y is a saturated or unsaturated linear or branched aliphatic radical of 1-6 carbon atoms optionally substituted by Cl, Br or CN or is a cyclopropyl radical, R is alkyl of 1-5 carbon atoms, -COR<SP>1</SP> or where R<SP>1</SP> is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical of 1-4 carbon atoms optionally substituted by Cl, Br or a phenoxy radical which may be substituted by Cl or CH 3 or is a cyclopropyl radical, R<SP>2</SP> is an alkyl radical of 1-4 carbon atoms and R<SP>3</SP> is H or an alkyl radical of 1-4 carbon atoms as an active ingredient together with an emulsifying or dispersing agent or a solid or liquid carrier. Other herbicides e.g. triazines, dichloroalkyl carboxylic acid derivatives, ureas, uracils and pyridazones may be included in the compositions. |
