PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance light-fastness and storage stability, and make use possible as CD-R in a present system, and also enable reproduction to be done in the high density optical disk of a following generation by containing at least one kind of a specific compound in a recording layer. SOLUTION: The photo-recording medium contains at least one kind of a compound expressed by formula (in the formula, R1-R4 show a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, or the like, (a)-(d) show integers 0-4, X and Y are substitutional group consisting of a hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, or the like, M is a bivalent or trivalent metallic atom that can have oxygen, a halogen atom, or the like, (n) is an integer of 1 or 2, A and B are atomic groups needed for a heterocycle, R5 shows a hydrogen atom or univalent substitutional group. Also, the recording layer is made to have as principal component a mixture of one kind of the compound in the formula and organic coloring matter having a maximum absorptive wavelength in 680-700 nm. Thus, it results in a CD-R recording medium that can be reproduced only in a following generation system. |
