<p>A method is used for the composting of organic substances (rotting material), in particular waste material, for instance household garbage or garbage similar to household garbage. The rotting material is put into a closed container and is decomposed microbially by supplying oxygen thereto. To the rotting material there is furthermore also supplied a mixture of pure oxygen and exhaust air. In order to improve such a method, CO2 as contained in the exhaust air is refed to the rotting material. The water which is contained in the exhaust air escaping from the rotting material is separated.</p> |
