Solder for ti containing zn alloys

Solders containing zinc chloride or zinc-ammonium chloride contain an additional 0.1-20% stannous chloride, calculated on the total content of the other salts. The stannous chloride may be substituted up to 50% by bismuth chloride. Pb solders or Pb-Sn solders housing a low Sn content, both having a melting point above 300 degrees C. are pref. used for soft-soldering of Ti-containing Zn alloys according to this method.
