Hydraulically operated vibratory casing driver - driven rock

Borehole casing machine has drives for lifting and lowering operations and for the rotation of the drilling pipe itself. Superposed on these drives are high frequency oscillations by means of vibrators. The drive rate is higher in rock capable of compaction by the vibratory effect and, in the event of rock pressure, the vibrations assist rock compaction and so stabilise or alleviate the pressure.
