<p>A process for producing polyamide comprises polymerising lactam in the presence of a salt composed of a polymer having side chain or at least one amino end group and another polymer having side chain or at least one carboxyl end groups. Polyethyleneglycol diamine and polyethyl eneglycol dicarbonate were reacted with each other to form a salt. Caprolactam was polymerised in the presence of this salt. Fibres produced had improved spinnability, mechanical properties and electrostatic characteristics.</p> |
