The pneumatic conveyor station is fitted with an air-tight point inclined against the horizontal with a turntable bearing fitted at one end permitting swivel movement of the conveyor movement pipe from the line of the pipe into the immediate area of a station opening. A drive installation activates the air-tight point end so that when the case enters the station from above the flow of conveyor air is interrupted and in conjunction with the arriving conveyor case, builds up an air cushion to brake the case following which the point is operated. Then a sluicing system is formed with the free end of the closing installation which guides the case after braking almost to a stop into the receiving magazine solely under the influence of gravity. |
